Summary

Description
English: Contrastock (a word play on Woodstock) is an annual 12 hour contradance event sponsored by the Folklore Society of Greater Washington DC, and held at Glen Echo National Park, Glen Echo, Md. At the culmination of the 2011 event, dance caller Nils Fredland whipped the crowd into a frenzy, beckoned them up to the stage, and dove into the spontaneous "mosh pit".
